My name is Cheryline Lawson, mother of two boys Jamal and Jevon Lawson, ages 17 and 12 respectively as well as the wife of Fredrick Lawson.
Today my life appears to be normal, but it wasn’t so 21 years ago. I gave birth to my only child at the time, in 1986, whose name was Chadrick Lawson. As an only child, he was the apple of my eye. I began to plan for his future before he was born. Little did I know that I would outlive him.
There was no rhyme or reason why he was suddenly taken away from me. Although it was an accident, it could have been avoided. When you read the story, you may agree with me on that point, but you will also agree that some things happen for reasons that we cannot explain.
