A Love That Never Dies is a heart warming story about a woman who will never forget her true love. Unfortunately, she may be sacrificing her own relationship with her new husband for something that happened in the past. The struggles that Patricia deals with concerning Rob, her former lover who was married, is all to familiar with people who lose sight of what is morally right when the heart is at stake.
Unconditional love is expressed as, “I love you as you are, as you seek to find
your own special way in this world, or the way you feel that is right for you. It is
important that you are the person you want to be and not the person that I think you
should be.”
This is the kind of love that we all hope to find someday. That special someone
who knows that they cannot always know what is best for us. Someone who has not
necessarily been where we have been, viewing life from the angle that we have. They
allow us to be in the world without a thought or word of judgment. They see no error in
the things that we say or do. They understand that there are many ways to perceive and
experience the different facets of our world. This person allows us, without reservations,
the choices that we make in each moment. They allow us to walk our own path and
make no judgment of these steps that we choose.
Excerpt
Rob and Patricia fall deeply in love. But when the court battle for custody of two year old Alan turns out badly, Rob decides he doesn't want anything to do with Patricia anymore.
As time goes by, they again meet. Rob has moved on with his life, but Patricia has never been able to get over her unconditional love for Rob.
Years later, when Patricia tries to get in contact with Rob again, she finds that he is not around. But, she has learned from Rob that true love is something that you never take for granted and you never forget. You take it with you to your grave.
