The last thing eight year-old Matt wanted to do, on a sunny summer morning, was clean his room.
"Mom, I hate cleaning my room," he said, shuffling inside.
"Well, it's got to be done," said his mother as she handed him a large yellow trash bag.
Matt trudged into his room and plopped down on his bed. He reached down and flipped back a corner of the bedspread. A ball of dust puffed out. He kicked it with the toe of his sneaker and it burst into a dozen gray particles.
He jumped up. "Aha!" he shouted. "I've just destroyed the monster dust bunny, and I'll kill any others I find before they take over the world!"
