Her kidnapper takes her to a hidden settlement way back in the Bayou Country where she meets other girls who have met the same fate. Tara is tortured, raped and made to marry a stranger she has never laid eyes on. What will become of Tara?
Excerpt
As she looks around for something to pry the door open she can’t
believe what she is seeing in this place. Traps with teeth are hanging
all over the walls and lanterns and fuel are lined up on shelves. She
sees bow and arrows that looks home made and the fishing poles are
all cane trees. She continues to search for any thing to pry the door
open and finds a hatchet. Yes! She runs over to the door and starts
chopping at the latch determined to get out for this stranger named
Aaron has no right to keep her here. As she hatches away she is
beginning to make progress but also is making a lot of noise but doesn’t
care, she wants out. She is determined, thinking of nothing but getting
out, heading to a boat and then out of this place.
The door then swings open, knocking Tara down to the floor.
Aaron walks over to a hatch door, opens it, then grabs Tara dragging
her over to it. Tara screams out! “What are you doing to me? You are
supposed to be rescuing me so why are you doing this.” He then
pushes her down into the hatch with the hatch door being closed and
locked behind her. She tumbles down the steps, feeling every place on
her body that is being bruised by the fall. Oh no! Pitch black
darkness once again. Tara is scared to death and starts screaming
