There is only a certain amount of time before he can nolonger be saved from the condemning curse of being a gargoyle slave of the Temple forever.
Excerpt
Lance looks over at Andrew when suddenly they hear the blood curdling screams of the squire being drug astray.
They all turn and look at the same time and see a hideous looking female walking who is obviously dead. Her skin is covered with maggots which are crawling in and out of her rotting Flesh. The ground all around her is completely covered with them and more are wiggling up through the sod.
The stench of ancient dead bodies reaches the air, making everyone gag and choke trying hard not to vomit. Nothing looked real, the sound of soft beautiful voices began to sound like high pitched screeches, like fingernails on a chalk board. The squire is still screaming as the decrepit dead yet undead women are slowly ripping his flesh with their dull yellow/brown rotting teeth. More very old dead female bodies begin to slowly struggle there way out of the ground and are covered with mud and chunks of sod.
Everyone just stood and stared in terror as the vines hanging down from the gloomy trees came to life and were getting ready to reach and grab everyone.
Andrew screams out in panic “What are your eyes seeing that I am not?! Someone yells out, "Run for your lives!!!”
All of the men but Donovan and his squires turn to run.
Squire #1 saws to Donovan “Sir Donovan, You cannot save him.”
Donovan looks at the squire and motions for his horse and they all mount up and flee.
As they gallop away hands are coming up through the muddy dirt trying to grasp onto the horse's legs and hooves. Vines are reaching out trying to grab hold of the slower stragglers. Sounds of armies and massive horses pounding the ground escaping from danger could be heard echoing through out the forest.
Danielle and Nina are rescued from their wicked step-mother by Emma the Yellow Dream Train who takes them on adventures. When Nina learns she has the ability to speak to animals, Emma and the other trains teach her how to use it.
