As we grow through life, we begin to ask ourselves vital questions that shape our personalities. We examine all of our past and present experiences to find the answers. What motivates you? What defines you? How do you want to be loved? What concerns you in today’s world? How do you deal with loss? My Authentic Soul offers my own poetic responses to these questions. All of these pieces were written as they were felt and experienced in order to capture all raw emotions—happiness, sadness, joy, doubt, or fear. I wrote My Authentic Soul believing that faith in God and determination equips us to face all our feelings. I encourage you to read each poem to find comfort and inspiration.
