intense public interest with his latest novel "Come Die With Me."

    Amanda, the main character of the book, a well-educated young woman of

mixed racial blood, has tired of being an exotic club dancer and has begun

a new career as a chiropractor and licensed masseuse. Having been infected

with the AIDS virus by her boyfriend, who has since died from the disease,

she overcomes her trepidation to embark on a vengeful mission to "get even

with men" for their lustful pursuits. Believing she will soon die, she is
