Now he is faced with a more adamant terrorist-Amanda, former FBI double agent gone bad. Jim is going to have to deal with an ex-lover on a mission to end his life or anyone’s life that gets in the way of her revenge for him taking her man away from her, while searching for his brother being held a hostage, who he has never seen. Jim is also faced with multiple danger and many obstacles to overcome that are governed by time if he wishes to spoil the terrorist’s plot. Now the FBI has no choice but to rely on one marked man to save the day. Will Agent Deliviki prosper and save lives or will he fall short and die for trying?
Excerpt
She leaned down on one knee, her long blonde hair fell over her face covering her eyes as she grabbed her pant leg and pulled it up and drew a berretta out of its holster that was strapped around her lower left leg. Slowly swinging her head back up clearing her face of hair, opening her eyes wide and took aim at the back of Jim. As she placed her trigger finger on the trigger and was about to discharge her weapon, she glances around her surroundings to see many different people scattered around on the ground talking to others, and the sound of sirens and horns blasting and the commotion of several different helicopters flying over and passing one another. Ranging from police to FBI to news media, one unmarked black helicopter maneuvered in and a man leaned slightly out of the side door and positioned his rifle and scope and took aim.
While looking through the scope, the marksman gestured the pilot with his left arm and hand to lower the aircraft and then motioned him to stop by holding up his hand palm facing the pilot and acknowledged by giving him a thumbs up. Jim and Amanda had come in to his sight and were a dead on shot. The shooter relays back to the pilot that his subject is in sight and locked. The pilot then calls it in.
“Adam one this is Cain, over?”
“Go ahead Cain.” A response from someone with a voice that is not revealed.
“Subject Seth is in sight and we have a positive on target, over?”
“Roger, you have a green for eradication, over?”
“Roger Adam, it’s a go. Cain out.”
The pilot confirms to the shooter that he has a go for a shot at target. The shooter re-aims his rifle and makes a few adjustments to his scope and positions his footing for a steady shot to overcome the momentum of the helicopter hovering. Looking through his scope, target is acquired and he discharges his weapon. The man leaned back into the helicopter, drew back in his rifle and motioned the pilot to pull out of range and circle around the area.
The round left the rifle barrel as Jim moved his body around to see where Amanda was and was hit in the right shoulder blade. Jim’s body twirled around several times before he hit the ground. Amanda had looked up and had a irrefutable feeling that, that bullet was meant for her and managed to get up and dodge out of sight and disappeared into the thick crowd. She would return one day to collect a debt of revenge on Jim for having her man killed. She was in fact an agent that played both sides, she just chose the wrong side.
