The street-tough kid adopted by the O’Fallons and made into one of their own. Quaid’s spent the last few years working in the Coast Guard Search and Rescue in Alaska, but he’s still got a hint of danger humming under the surface—and a heart fiercely loyal to the man who saved him, Rory O’Fallon. She hit the brakes, skidded and swerved. “Damnation! Now what!”
When Sophie Bayles inadvertently ruins a young man’s chance for employment, she sets out to find him a new position. Even though he doesn’t want her to.
