Shannon Song is set in modern day Ireland. It is the story of an American woman in search of purpose and peace-of-mind among her Irish friends. She finds more than she has bargained for.
As she travels the byways of the ancient island, aptly known world-wide as the Emerald Isle, she relives a bit of its history and participates in solving a nagging mystery.

Salt water meets fresh here, she remembered thinking. Both surge in opposite directions; both heal, cleanse and demand. U.S. citizen, Emma Fraser, admired the silvery reflections and was optimistic.
