Over a three day period in a hideaway called the Kondor Club, they interview 4 old surviving flyers of a failed Luftwaffe mission, ordered by Goering, to attack and seize the Canal.
The Germans have been in Panama under Spanish aliases for 48 years, and approach the journalists with a request to write a book that at last reveals their story.

I read the book during my holidays in the South of France.
I think it's a thrilling book, a combination of nowadays and history. The author must have done a lot of investigation because of all the details in describing the airplanes, scenery and maps.
All people with some kind of imagination and interest in the history of WWII should read this book.
