The second edition is black and white and perfect bound by Lightening Source.
Both are educational and entertaining and suitable not only for children but for all adults who love dogs.

Today we went back to Cwmhwylfod to see Mum. She told me to keep still and let her have a look at me, so I rolled on my back and Mum and all my brothers and sisters gave me a good sniffing. It was very strange as they were all much bigger than I remembered. But Mum said I’d grown a lot too. I suppose I have, but I didn’t notice.

This book is true and all episodes really happened. It has many illustrations which are either genuine photos of the actual animals and people involved or, occasionally, water colours by the author [the human editor that is.]
It is a lovely book for a child but so far has at least as often been bought by adults for adukts.
