Due to other extreme medical issues that arose later in my life, I had to undergo a partial hysterectomy. Marcus would be the only child I would ever have or ever be close to having. Those who knew tried to console me by saying I could adopt, but the feeling of loss was unbearable. There were no words anyone could utter that could comfort me.
