I love the release that poetry gives a troubled or overburdened mind. Poetry is an avenue that, when traveled, can bring enlightenment, understanding, calming and illustration. The works contained in Stray Thoughts from a Wandering Mind are glimpses into my moods, passions, questions, answers, angers and joys. They are points on the compass rose I use to navigate this thing we call life. Most of these works appear in the order they were written, making this collection a short journey through the creative and living process.
