The night after Niall and Fionnha passionately consummate their love. Fio sits down with a cup of coffee and the morning paper. Opening it, she’s greeted with a full-page announcement of upcoming marriage of Niall Burke and Aileen Dermott. Fio flees to Texas with a friend. She discovers that what she thought were some of Niall’s business papers left with her are in reality shipping manifests listing the types of arms that Niall purchased for the IRA. How can she possibly love a man who causes the deaths of innocent people?
Unknown to Fio, the ranch on which she’s staying abuts that of the Texan Niall’s sister Megan married. When she meets her, Megan recognizes Fio’s name and immediately calls Niall. He arrives late that night, and Fionnha and he are reconciled with a night of passionate lovemaking.
The next day, however, while Niall is visiting with his sister, Fio is kidnapped by the illegal arms dealer, Juan Garcia, from whom Niall has been buying guns. Niall rescues Fio and finally reveals that he’s not a member of the IRA but rather a secret agent for Scotland Yard.
But, the illegal arms dealer escaped, and he wants revenge.

Too, she has several secondary characters that are just begging for stories of their own and have you wondering what plot she’ll come up with for them.
