Pathos In My Pocket by Sherry Bach is a celebration of unconditional friendship between Amanda and Trisha who have been friends for a long time but are at opposite ends of the world on their religious beliefs. Amanda is an atheist, Trisha is a believer. They accept each other's differences, agree to disagree and move on but they begin to feel that something is missing in their lives and so they try to fill the void with all the things that seem to be right: romance, humor, children, talents, careers. No matter what they do, the aching void still exists. Will they help each other discover the truths that are inherent in all of us and move on together to a higher realm?  Or do the absolute truths they each believe serve them or fail them?
