...he was an emotional, intense boy with his heart on his sleeve, wanting very much to be liked. In his desire for approval, he reined in his emotions, and grew up with a sense of pride, dignity, and responsibility to others. Impatient and impetuous, he often reacted too quickly and jumped to conclusions. He recognized this flaw and practised any skill until it was second nature.
