He’s ready to give you,
The first message,
For His sheep.
He’s looking at you,
With an everlasting peek.
The Word will soar,
Out of your mouth,
And before it reaches,
The clouds.
It will reach many souls.
You will stand bold,
As a messenger from God.
Your so-called friends
Will find it odd,
That he chose you,
A street dude,
To serve a multitude.
But that is how,
God does what he do.
Your wife and mom
Will stand proud
And say “Amen”!
Out loud.
To the Word,
That will ring out,
Of your mouth.
Without a doubt,
I can see it now.
You at work ,
At your new job,
Working for Christ.
Talking about Job.
How he lost everything,
But still kept faith.
And you constantly,
Making references,
To your own life.
And in the midst,
Of your trouble,
He sent you
A sweet young lady,
Who eventually,
Became your wife.
How that you will,
Never go back to,
The streets.
How you lived so,
Long in defeat.
And how God brought
You out,
Gave you a wife,
Who stuck by you,
Through thick and thin,
And held on to you,
Like Job did to God.
Your baby held on to you,
And let whatever be just be,
And eventually you,
You live with her happily,
And many souls you’ll win.
And wife and mom,
Will continue to say “Amen”!
Your first message
Will be written in books,
And played on the airways
Of heavenly media stations.
And will help save
The lives of many nations.
Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction. 2 Timothy 4:2
