Hannah Blessings, an aspiring writer, spends most of her days pleading and talking to God about becoming a published author. And just as it seems that God isn't listening to her desire, into her life walks Arrianus Kassandros, a sucessful literary agent, yet either is the wiser about their crossed destinies. Throughout the story, Arrianus tries to 'get with Hannah', but she continously blows him off. Eventually, she accepts his invitation to dinner and after dessert is served the two discover ther crossed paths.
After Hannah' book is published, 'Waiting' becomes a book within a book as 'God Chosen Woman' ministers to various women, showing the wonderful power of words between the pages of a book.
