"We all know I don't do book reports very well. I don't even like to read either. Any suggestions?"
A sly expression came over Andrea's face as she glanced through the libraries open front door, past the front desk, and across the far end to a small group of girls seated at a study table. "We could have one of them write the report for you."
Patty's face turned to a sinister pleasure.
"That's a great idea. I'm glad I thought of it." She bumped passed Andrea and the other two as she stomped into the library toward the small group of girls.
As Patty rushed by the front desk Mr. Mac greeted her.
"How are you doing Miss Pumpernickel?"
"Shut up you bald troll!"
"In one of your moods again I see." Mr. Mac, use to this from Patty, went back to filing index cards.
SLAM! A notebook and book sent vibrations across the face of the table startling the girls that sat there.
"One of you ugly pieces of burnt toast is going to have the pleasure of writing me a book report that will help me pass Lit with an A. So who is it going to be?"
