One night during a sold out opening tragedy occurs in a packed house. During a critical scene an effect goes wrong. The audience is captivated by whats going on onstage and is unaware of the true nature of the blaze .
"The Dark One " is also captivated but in a completely different way. To Him , this is the Ultimate performance. he knows his actors won't stop for they are well trained, and it doesn't appear they even really notice. The Dark One, after all is unpredictable.
The fire kills everyone in the Theatre.
As punishment for his lack of Humanity, the Dark One is forever cursed to instruct way word souls to help correct the lives of those chosen by an unseen hand.
Which he does, in his own way through prose...
