Many Christians struggle over the belief that God desires to
prosper His people. They feel that lack or poverty makes them more Christ-like. Some even feel that sickness and disease is of God and a normal part of a Christian’s life, in fact the opposite is true. God is directly responsible for the prosperity of His people. God causes His children to attract wealth according to Deuteronomy
8:18 KJ; or from the Living Bible, He gives us the power to become rich. We’ll talk more about that later. Then there are those who think they can use the word of God as a get rich quick scheme. These varying views have caused many children of God to live substandard lifestyles for centuries.
Wealth is not limited to monetary gain and for some has nothing to do with material things. You may feel rich being surrounded by family and friends. Someone may feel prosperous simply by being able to pay bills on time. Still there are those who feel wealthy by having the house on the hill, a successful business, nice cars and the ability to do and give at will.
God desires to fulfill your dreams and give you the desires of your
heart, Psalm 37:4. He has a fantastic plan for your life and it is an
abundant life. God wants you to be happy and full of joy! I believe
however, there is no true happiness aside from a genuine relationship
with Him. We can and will have success, prosperity, happiness, health, joy and peace in our lives when we dedicate our lives to Him. We have to be determined to live our life for God, to observe and do His
will, only then will we see the manifestation of our desires and live
that abundant life Jesus talked about.

7 Steps to Receiving the Desires of Your Heart is one of my all time favorite books...it is full of direction, wisdom and guidance...I am re-reading this book because God is taking me in a new direction...Everything I've done thus far has been amazing, nevertheless, it was only for a season....
You're never to smart or education to have more of God's word, direction and guidance in your life...
Honestly, I know that I am not at the level that I desire nor at the level of God's word and will for my life...
So many times Christian's tell me to settle and for the life of me, I cannot understand why would they say that...But what I've realize is that they do not know the will of God for their lives, leaving them to settle...By me knowing the will of God for my life it sickened me to not live my life in the fullness of it...The Word of God says in Proverbs 13:12: Hope deferred maketh the heart sick, but when the DESIRE cometh, it is a tree of life. This scripture allows me to know that I am suppose to live life by the desire of my heart.
A few years ago, God gave me Life by Design, a vision of designing a life that I wanted to live....from that came a television show, a great song and ministry...but what I believe He was really giving me was vision to know that I did not have to settle that I can truly design my life...
Yes I know that you will say, there are steps that we must take, including working hard...And I will say the only steps that I need are God's steps, in His word and putting God first in all things....
I wonder what would happen if we completely believe God and His word...how many mountain could we move and how much water could we walk on....wait, and what about causing time to stop, raining fire, healing the blind, raising the dead, man the list goes on and on....
There are so many great things that we can invest in to make our lives richer, but for the life of us, we do not....All I can say is stop wishing for someone else life and start designing your own life with 7 kingdom (biblical) principles from the word of God...The word works...
