His need for her blood almost overwhelmed him, He could taste it sweet and heavy. He could feel it rushing over his tongue and running through his veins. His arms trembled with the need to hold her against him, pin her to his body until her struggles ceased and she was limp and cold. Somehow through all of that he resisted. But just barely.

"Come to me, Jamie."
She turned around quickly realizing that she was outside and he was standing a few feet from her. The damp sand was cold against her bare feet and the wind whipped her hair around her head, tugged at her clothes. Michael stood waiting with his hand held out to her. The waves crashed behind him covering the sound of her heart as she took a step closer.
He took her hand in his and pulled her to him. His fingers stroked her face and his lips touched hers.The joining of their lips sent her mind reeling. Every cell in her body felt like it was on fire. Her knees weakened as his tongue parted her lips and danced with hers. He felt her stumble and he held her closer, presser her tighter against him.
The rational part of her brain told her that this wasn't real. It couldn't possibly be. She would not be kissing a man that she had just met no matter what her heart and body was telling her.
If this was a dream would she be feeling the blood rush to her skin where his lips touched? Would she be able to feel his hard muscles under his skin, his quickening breath on her neck?
She pulled back and looked up into his face. "This isn't real." She said.
He cocked his head slightly and a small smile played over his lips. "No, it's not real." He whispered.
She ran her hands over his chest marveling again at how vivid everything was.The fabric of his royal blue shirt was silky, his body tight and hard beneath it. He captured her mouth with his again teasing with his tongue.
Suddenly he straightened and she opened her eyes to see his gaze fixed on her face. He pulled her to him again and pressed her head to his chest.
"I want you, Jamie." The deep bass of his voice tickled her ear.
"More than anything in the world. I have been searching for a lifetime and now I have finally found you."
