Hooked On You by Anne Whitfield is a contemporary romance that had me hooked from the first chapter. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. Mrs. Whitfield writes Katie and Liam in such a way that I can relate to what they are thinking and feeling. Katie is determined to keep her lust-filled thoughts from her boss and, like many typical men, Liam seems blissfully unaware. The way Katie is often tongue tied in Liam's presence reminds me of how first love feels and I laughed at Katie's sporting escapades. This is the first book I have read by Mrs. Whitfield but it will definitely not be my last. I found Mrs. Whitfield's style of writing to be a refreshing change from the more erotic romances I have read. I would recommend this book to all romance readers.
