Andy is a conscientious inner city schoo teacher who gets involved sexually with a pupil of his. He is anxious about the relationship and he is also addicted to the sexual sensations. He wants to know what is the true nature of love and he wants to redeem his soul. He comes to understand that his past has bearings on the pain he is experiencing and that he needs to do his part so the pain and anguish won't be perpetuated through the generations.

Andy Meriwether, 36, is a divorced teacher who is struggling with students who seem to be uninterested in learning and hell-bent on sabotaging his efforts to make them learn.  He is passionate about doing all what he can do so they'll become successful members of the society.  Andy feels deep empathy for the troubled students and he wants to understand what is causing them to act angry or disinterested.  He senses that they might be in as much pain as he is under.

In that empathetic state of mind he bends backwards to help a 14-year old girl named Irene.  She tells him her family troubles and her involvement with men.   In spite of his good intentions, they begin a physical relationship.  He is overwhelmed by the sensations he experiences with her.  The thrilling sensations are so powerful he cannot help but dwelling on them even long after she is gone.  He also remembers that his divorced wife experienced the intense pleasures of love making with him.  And she divorced him.  What does love mean then?  Would there be such thing as true love?  What about his alcoholic father who loved him but committed suicide?  What about his mother's bottomless love for him?

All his  relationships begin to crumble down around him.  He delves into his parents' relationship and their love for him and wants to understand how he came to such an anguished and pain-filled life.  On the brink of ending his life, he comes to an understanding of his father's despairing life. And he realizes that he has an obligation to raise his  daughters better so they won't become like him.

Excerpt

Climbing on her, I focus my nerves on the swollen cells of the crown. I rock her, rock her, and push it in as deep as I can. My body begins to enter the plane of sheer sensations. Right before the cells flare open and the surging sperms take over my being, I am floating in a state of boundless exhilaration--the acute sensory awareness of a cliff diver turning, twisting, and swishing in the air before plunging into the water with imploding bubbles. What a humpback in the dense water receiving a fellow whale's caressing love-song feels on its silky underbelly.
All the cell stems on the pecker are about to open up like swaying anemone in a warm tide, all my motions reduced to sluggish, slow motion thrusts. One more hump and I feel the linear chain of explosions surging ahead, overwhelming all the restraints. I barely pull the cock out and, embracing her shudder. In pulses it comes, a torrent of milk and honey, a river of twisting and thrashing spermatozoa.
It's a moment of concussive pleasures. It's a rollercoaster ride down a zero gravitational slope, a two-hundred-mile-an-hour joyride on a banked race track.
