Education is in trouble. Yes, there are bad schools, bad teachers and a host of smaller problems. The real problem, however, is the lack of learning tools given to students.

As parents/instructors/teachers/students, we are all trying to get the student to think. As an instructor, I discovered that the laborious and illusive parts of thinking begin with the Critical Success Factors for Learning. Once mastered a student has the tools, and the confidence, to chase their passions and dreams -- and will not be put to sleep by content. They will have the proper balance of mental significance, and the real palpable world of reality, that will keep the thought software firing on all eight cylinders. They will understand any data’s role when measured against a key central idea (Mind Mapping). They slowly develop the ability to think, quickly followed by conceptual understanding, with the ability to apply. This means that the byproducts of CSFL are critical thinking, i.e., how to think.
