The world is falling sick. People everywhere are succumbing to an unknown virus that has been hidden inside the human body for two hundred thousand years. No one can explain it, and no one can stop it.

When the virus makes its way to West Branch Penitentiary in Pennsylvania, all hell breaks loose as inmates and guards are infected. With the undead running rampant, and criminals in control of the prison, it’s up to a doctor, a corrections officer, a young boy, and a man convicted of a crime he didn’t commit to stop them. They’ll have to fight off the dead, and the living, in order to escape before they suffer a fate far worse than infection.
