This is a psychosexual odyssey involving three members of the Hip Hop Generation; a generation influenced by the erotically charged fantasy world of the contemporary music video. Debrena Allen and Lorrie Cunningham are dancers with the Dominique St. Claire Dance Studio, located in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Choice Fowler, a Los Angeles native, is a professional photographer with the Nelson Talent Agency [NTA].
Debrena Allen is a young talented dancer struggling with identity and sexuality issues. While working with the Dominique St Claire Dance studio she is swept away in a passionate love affair with the handsome, Choice Fowler. Even though Debrena feels a strong connection to Choice, she still secretly enjoys the sexual pleasures of a women.
Lorrie Cunningham is Debrena's childhood friend who encourages her to take an inward look at who she is, and what she wants in life. Though Debrena cherishes her relationship with her best friend, she refuses to be labeled. As Debrena is sucked into a spiraling vortex of desire with Choice, she can't deny her sexual desires toward Lorrie. Refusal to face her reality has Debrena struggling with a question that has haunted the human spirit since time began. Who is the person in the mirror?

Dancer's Paradise forces the world around us to take notice as bisexual tendencies among women seem to be more profound than ever. Many people shake their heads in disbelief to see young teenage girls walking hand in hand with other girls. Years ago, it would have been seen as something innocent but now it is looked at as scandalous.
