"Kayla and Emma"by Carrie Williams is the perfect little book to read to your children and or grandchildren. The illustrations have the appearance and color consistency of children's crayon drawn pictures. They will remind us all of the types of pictures that we drew when we were children.

As I read this book to myself, I had a very good feeling inside. It reminded me of all the fun I had taking my children on summer adventures. And now I think of all the fun I'm having taking my grandchildren on similar adventures during the summertime, like camping, going to zoos, visiting relatives far away and a whole bunch of other things.

In "Kayla and Emma,"Carrie tells us from their viewpoint about some adventures they had, probably during the summer. I won't give away the complete storyline, but here is just a tad. Kayla and Emma are visited by their grandfather; he rides a big motorcycle. They, along with their dad and grandfather, visit the zoo for the day. They also spend time at the local fair; we all know how much fun that is. They go camping together, probably for weekend and they also manage to visit with relatives far away. Kayla and Emma have some wonderful adventures and, carrie, with her writing style, make you feel that you are right there along with them having just as much fun.

Carrie, please keep writing; I'd like to know more about Kayla and Emma's adventures. You've done a wonderful job with this book and, by the way, I must say that it was very well edited. Children will have no problem understanding every single word that is read to them or that they will read themselves.
