“Goddess, what Riles and I will be opening to you and Princess is beyond anything you’ve witnessed thus far in the organism. Today’s disclosure is relatively new.
“Efforts you put forth within the organism, my doe-eyed warrior, have gone unchallenged because your perspective is very much respected by everyone. You were an immediate superstar, and not due to any influence of mine. This area, as well as the legal steps you underwent are areas I have burned to share with you for the years I’ve courted you, but like the poetic cheat, I was not about to offer you this egress in order to receive your public commitment.”
“In truth, if you had, I probably would have fled in fear; never to return.”
“Really?”
“Right now I’m a bit nervous kimosabe. I have this image of you directing a laser hit at Earth and wiping out civilization.”
“Not until everyone goes without mechanical energy for at least thirty minutes.”
“No laser?”
“Never was the organism designed to continue war. While we didn’t earn the degrees, Riles and I worked on the premise that the human spirit was the vital piece to our species’ puzzle. It was a commonality we shared in our rearing by our respective parents. Spirits have been ignored; left abandoned. Fear distracts us; hence we ignore its wails.”
“How did you know what to develop when spirit is invisible?”
“To our eyes, absolutely, but not to our hearts. I’m not referencing the one that pumps blood doc,” tapped her chest and then rested his open hand to the pulsing organ to permit the meditative distraction. “Lovely lady, when you and I would rendezvous we would always begin in a crowded district to melt into obscurity. How did we consistently find each other from day one?”
“I could feel you.”
“Do you suppose that I could feel you? When you created worry from the anticipation of the unknown in Gilbert and Gwen’s office, how was it I was able to know? After all, you certainly wouldn’t pick up the phone,” teased.
“We always felt each other.”
“Goddess your spiritual intuition is powerful as is your co-conspirator’s. We have yet to experience its complete strength due to your childhood derailments. Spiritual intuition is the real heart; the other is machinery. Spiritual intuition is not invisible. Heart of the human spirit requires massaging for it has been abandoned, just like my Goddess’ and her friend’s child within. Metaphorically you and the Princess are the spirits to your warriors.” Cloistered silence prompted concern, “Are those my tears Goddess?” moved his hand to her face to extract the moisture and then tasted it. “Over the years I have become quite the connoisseur to your tears. These have a most unique essence. Have I crossed a line?”
“Would you please allow me a moment to enjoy your poetry?”
“Is it conveyed as required in the syllabus, for I failed to find it?”
“Look at the fine print!” rolled to confess to his gaze. “Each time I’ve felt this way, nervous about the new course we’d take, you have always folded in the four corners of my fleeing directions and returned me to center. You are my greatest gift kimosabe,” collared her love.
“Can I count on Klaatu and Gort not returning?”
“Promise not to blast Earth or her inhabitants out of existence?”
