Verse twenty-eight begins by confessing that “we know” meaning that we don’t think or wonder if God will cause everything to work together for our good but that we know it will. To know, according to Merriam Webster’s dictionary, is to be aware of the truth or factuality of: be convinced or certain of something, in this case it’s to be certain that, it is God who is going to cause everything to work together for our good. So then, we can look at our obstacles and know that they are no match for God and His ability to turn them into pebbles or better yet move them entirely out of our way. No matter the method, God is the one who is capable and able.
