I really enjoyed the light humor in this fictional story because of how one can relate certain events to my everyday life. Bob Frey's book is one that I can recommend due to the entertaining segments on animals that supposedly hide the keys that your mother can't find, make noises in the car that drive your father crazy, and steal that one sock out of the dryer. This book has the answers
The title of this book caught my eye. The book talks about the different types of 'animals' that are responsible for many, many, many, many unexplainable happenings in and around the house.

I really like the fact that the author has found a way to identify the creatures and tell us who is responsible for what. Hopefully this will save many, many, many, many families around the world from squabbling about missing keys, candies, holes in socks.... No more listening to people getting out of breath and accusing each other for irritating mysteries in our lives. For this reason, it would be a good idea to have this translated in as many languages as possible. I can already imagen how funny it would be to hear what Ooey Gooey has done around the world. For example in Arabic, it would sound like: Laa Laa! Ooey Gooey!" (translation: No no! Ooey Goey!) or in Hindi: "Ooey Goey nay mayree kitab kharaab kar dee thi!" (translation: Ooey Gooey messed up my book!")

Very funny and creative book
The main idea is that `things' are done for which no one in the family can be blamed; the idea is sheer genius! This guide is very creative, the characters are funny and their names are self explanatory.

If your house is like my home, then I am sure you and others in the family get in trouble for things that no one seems to know who did them. Now the disappearance of socks, cookies from the cookie jar, stains on clothes, etc can be explained through this guide.
