There is no question that Margaret Millmore is well accustomed with the layout and heartbeat that is San Francisco. Her attention detail allows the reader to follow Jane Knox every step of the way. A refreshing take on a well developed amnesia plot; familiar enough to be comforting and unique enough to leave you guessing. This book has a little something for every kind of reader: there is action, a no nonsense heroine, a dashing husband who may or may not be evil, science run amok, involvement with government agencies and all set against the foggy and mysterious background that is San Francisco.
