It's the witching hour as a young college student steps up to a crossroads in an isolated area outside of the city. Off in the distance a dark figure approaches cane in hand. A heavy fog hugs the ground as a full moon emerges through dark clouds over head. The smell of rain hangs heavy in the night air. As the figure comes into focus the young student sees a tall slim man dressed in a white suit with long tails, a wide brimmmed Panama hat on his head. His eye's a glow like candle flames as he stands before the young man an evil grin on his face. The stranger speaks, "So boy what would you ask of me this glorious night?" "Can you smell that boy? Can you smell the night? The stranger says, "Oh how I love the night so." The day light is way over rated don't you agree? The young man responds,"I suppose so." The young man asks, is it true what I read about the legend of the strap? The Devil's wicked grin broadens, delighted by what he's been ask. The devil responds, you mean my wolf strap? The young replies, "Yes the wolf strap, is the legend true? Does it offer one powers, and eternal life? The devil responds "Oh yes my boy and so much more, of course you must be worthy of such a gift." Are you worthy boy? The devil asks with a smile on his face. With that the young answers, "I'd give anything to have such a gift." The devil responds, "Anything you say?" How about your soul? The young man responds, your kidding right? The devil replies, if you say so, pulling out a contract he says, sign here and the wolf strap is yours, the young man reaches for the devil's pen and pricks his finger on the tip, blood drips on the form and the devil responds, ah.. that shall do nicely. And so the story begins.

Chapter 3
As they sit eating breakfast Susie asks, “What on earth were you dreaming about last night any way? You scared the hell out of me! You looked like you were in some sort of trance. I spoke to you, but you wouldn’t say anything, just stared with a glassy stare. Really freaked me out Professor, you had me worried Richard. It was as though you seen the devil himself.”
“Funny you should mention that, as that is exactly what I was dreaming about.” Richard says, “It was so real, it really freaked me out, then all of a sudden I woke up.”
“Man, I still get chills thinking of it babe. He was reaching towards me holding this weird strap made of animal hair. His eyes glowed like hot coals and he was dressed in a white suit with Panama hat, the kind with the wide brim, it was white too, and he had a cane with silver wolfs head crowning it.”
“You sure you weren’t being haunted by Colonel Sanders,” Susie says breaking out in laughter.
Richard says, “I’m serious Susie, it scared the hell out of me.”
Susie says, “You mean it scared the Devil out of hell apparently.”
“I’m not kidding Susie, it was one wild damn dream, and I’ve never had one like that before ever!” Richard continues, “There’s this belt we’ve been talking about in class called The Wolf Strap, it’s an Old Russian folk tale, and the belief was that if you put this belt on it allowed one to turn into a werewolf. Anyway, that’s what I was thinking about when I dosed off to sleep and the Devil was handing me this damn thing in my dream.
