Pat and Kerry Powers inadvertently become involved with a narcissistic, manipulative woman, whom decides her life would be much better for herself without her toddler daughter, Chameel. She ultimatly gives the child to the Powers. The story follows the upbringing of Chammel through the twists and turns of a seemingly genetic replica of her biological mother. Chameels predisposed psychotic behavior goes much farther. Within the constraints of her emotionless capabilities she loves Pat; however Chameel holds a loathing contemptuous distain that takes the family through boundless events. Chameel's intent is to envelope Pat to be the ultimate victim in her sociopatic world.
