Nazi world domination through science

To better understand why it all happened, The 4th Reich series follows one aristocratic German family during the years of Nazi rule through to the end of the Second World War. Then, through the eyes of the future generations, it follows a band of rich and powerful Germans, and takes the reader beyond Germany's military defeat to the formation of German World Supremacy, brought about through years of advanced scientific and technoligical developments.

PROLOGUE

On August twenty third, nineteen thirty-nine, a ten year Non-Aggression Pact was signed between the Governments of the Nazi Third Reich and Russia.

This agreement provided Adolf Hitler, Germany’s Fuhrer, with a guarantee that once he took on the rest of Europe in the west militarily, he would not find himself having to face a two-front war, as his country had in the Great War of nineteen fourteen – nineteen eighteen.

He was, as were his generals, convinced that a future two-front war for Germany was doomed to failure.

There was also a secret protocol that went with that pact. That protocol included an agreement on the part of Russia not to join in the possible future war in return for Germany’s promise to provide the Russians with the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. In addition Poland, once overrun, was to be divided between the two powers. Under the provisions of this protocol the new border between Germany and Russia was to be run along the Narew, Vistula and San rivers.

This would provide Stalin with a land buffer to protect his country from attack from the west, something that was a major concern for him at the time.

It would provide Hitler the security of not having to fight a two- front war.

The Reich leader was confident that it would also be the straw that broke the back of the English. He was convinced that this diplomatic plum, in addition to the military pressure he was already able to put upon them, would cause England to disregard her treaties and guarantees with other European nations and convince the British to seek a workable peace, on Hitler’s terms, with Germany.

Under the circumstances the deal between Hitler and Stalin was not just a non-aggression pact. It was the intrinsic tool needed by the Fuhrer to facilitate his blueprint for the creation of the New Germanic Nation.

In so doing, it all but guaranteed a second World War.

As they begin, the Fourth Reich series of novels are filled with the historical facts of the day so that these may serve to set the stage for the everyday lives of the members of one aristocratic German family depicted within its pages. Throughout the series fact and fiction appear, mix, meld and fade in turn.

The story of the von Stauffer family begins in the period of the Nazi rise to power in Germany and follows them on their, at times perilous, journey through World War II and beyond, toward the creation of The Fourth Reich.
