Every family has their favorite Christmas traditions. Those traditions include events, places, people, and food. This little book is about the food that our family associates with the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season.
Christmas is like no other season of the year. For us, who live in Minnesota, it includes cold, snowy weather, hot beverages, and gathering by the fireplace for cozy evenings together.
It also means finding meaningful ways to celebrate the birth of our Savior. Keeping the real meaning of Christmas alive is the goal and all the other things are the “glue” that binds us together as we celebrate His birth.

Family Favorites for the Holidays
Family Favorites for the Holidays by Phyllis Sather is a Christmas download with a Christian focus. Bible verses are interspersed within the recipes, but overall this download is basically a small cookbook of Sather family recipes and stories.
Containing more than 20 recipes, this e-book could help any cook prepare a holiday meal as well as a full Holiday dessert table. Recipes range from meatloaf and "Southern Corn" to Gingersnaps and Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies. I had never heard of "Acorns" or "Puppy Chow" so those recipes were fun to read. This e-book is heart-warming to read, as if my own mom were sharing all of her favorite recipes and holiday memories with me in my own kitchen. Really the lovely stories behind the recipes were the best part of this download. My favorite recipe anecdote was Ms. Sather's hilarious advice for lump-free gravy! The Sandbackles story of spending time with her ailing Mother-in-law was also very touching.
Desiring something chocolatey and delicious? Look no further! This tempting collection of 37 irresistible, quick-to-make recipes is the ultimate treat for chocolate lovers of all ages. From dreamy hot and cold chocolate beverages to decadent cookies,
