Alec Nestor is a young, storm chaser from Amarillo, Texas, who wakes up one morning after chasing storms and finds himself stranded within another dimension. Wandering aimlessly, he soon stumbles onto another being, an elf named Nestaron. 

 Aware that Alec is an Earthly, Nestaron questions his arrival, but Alec cannot remember anything after the storm. Using his powers, Nestaron learns Alec’s arrival was no accident. A powerful being was the source responsible for pulling him from Earth to Mantra. 

 Realizing the Aura’s Gates have been breached, Nestaron rallies assistance from the dwarves with escorting Alec to Surrindale. The Elders had to be informed of the breach and Alec’s presence.
