Vicki couldn't believe she was expected to make a speech to the entire world about peace and unification, especially after she had just been involved in a firefight a few weeks back.  The second half of it was recorded on video and shown all over the world with her holding a bloody tomahawk in her right hand and a bloody knife in her left hand.

Walking up to the podium after being introduced, Vicki nervously glanced around. By Habit, even though there were security people all around, Vicki still wore her pistol and tomahawk, her trademark.  Taking out first her pistol, then her tommahawk, she felt the nervousness of the audience like they expected her to start shooting. Laying both on the podium, she moved her hands away from them making the security look relieved that they didn't have to rush across the room or shoot her from where they were. She started to speak!

Over a million people gathered at the airport in Indonesia when Vicki arrived there. They were about to become another state in the Republic of Terra and she was selected to be one of their Senators until the next election. She was dumbfounded finding how much her short speech had become so well recieved,t she was happy to be one of their new Senators.

Vicki soon learns one of the problems about being so popular. She was kidnapped to force her husband Brad, President of the Republic to create a separate state for a certain group in the Amazon Jungles that had been fighting for years against the local government.
