Kellie's memoir begins when she had her first encounter with the paranormal at the age of two. While not considering herself to have strong psychic abilities, she has, nonetheless, been both blessed and plagued with experiences she cannot always explain. These experiences have included both small and large events that have helped mold a view of the world that goes beyond the standard understanding of how things work.
Kellie has seen ghosts, met her spirit guide, been administered to by angels, and has had several experiences with dreams and premonitions. As a Christian, Kellie has developed an open attitude about the spiritual realm and what it encompasses. She is the first to admit that she doesn't have all the answers, but certainly enjoys asking the important questions of life.

The voice said, “Things will get better.”
“They will?” I thought. “I sure hope so.” In my teenage world, it was hard to imagine that things could get any worse.
And then, I was touched, as if by a cloak that draped around me. It was a feeling of heaviness and lightness all at the same time. I felt it press on me from the back and then bind around the front of my torso. As the cloak-like feeling folded across my chest, I felt the tickle of feathers brush along my jaw. I took in a deep breath and let it out and as I did, the feathers touched my face.
And then everything -- the heat, the cloak of wings, the shiny blue rays emanating from my hands faded away in seconds. I was still sitting on the edge of my bed, my head slightly bowed, but the tears that had been streaking down my cheeks were gone.

This is a very readable book which may cause the reader to recall his own past experiences with situations that were unexplained and often helpful. The episodes are well written and well told, each giving anticipation for the next. It leads this reader to ponder how much more there is to life and its spiritual dimension than we can ever grasp.

Kellie's book helped me realize that many of the so-called coincidences that have occurred in my life were actually moments when my soul connected with Spirit.
