Announcing a brand new publication that comprises 224 pages and well over 300 black & white images, featuring many of the historic streets, walkways and landmark buildings that form part of the ancient city. This new book tries to both identify and explain the earliest histories and later development of many of Chester's most familiar sites, including its four main shopping streets and the many buildings that line their historic routes. The publication also tries to identify some of the notable men responsible for creating the city that stands today, the masons, the bricklayers and perhaps more importantly, the small number of regional architects who have helped to create, what is commonly referred to as the Chester "Look"
