Professional Reviews
Adventure, suspense and humor
Let me say first that I read the last of the series (The Ex) a while back. Having now read the whole series, it was fun going back to the beginning of the story. I find that Corny's character doesn't always make sense to me, but then, I'm a senior citizen, and I really think that young adults will enjoy this. I tried hard to put myself into that category as I was reading it. Corny is a very lively character, usually has a one-track mind where sex is concerned and often gets into trouble, revealing a personality somewhat like the dumb blond of my day.
Corny can communicate with animals and that helps her in her business as a pet retrieving company, Green Hornet Investigations. As in the final segment, she has clever dialogue and thoughts throughout the story. Much of it is fast-paced, but some is daily routine with a different twist.
If you enjoy adventure, suspense, sex and humor, try this series. If you're a senior citizen and enjoy all those things, you will also enjoy it.
