Two people running from being murdered.
This is the story of three people (James, Kevin & Maria) who played together as children near Lake Zurich, Switzerland. James moves away. James and Maria meet again in Geneva as young people, and fall in love. They want to get married, but her rich Father (Victor Swartzenbach) says no. He picks an older Count for his only daughter to marry. On her wedding day, Maria and James run away. They run to Vienna, Warsaw, and Lithuania. Furious, Father hires 3 underworld thugs to bring his daughter back.
Excerpt
It was a very warm summer afternoon in the city of Enge, Switzerland. Enge is a quiet, well structured, clean and friendly city located on the west side of Lake Zurich, also known as Ziirichsee. The three families who lived near the Mythenquai road allowed their three children to play on the soft, green grass next to the Lake. The children would play tag; card games; hide-and-seek; blind man’s bluff; conkers, and other games for the young. When the boys would play the latest game from America (cowboys and indians), the girl would play with her dolls. After play, they would lay on the grass in the cool shade, thinking about things, feeling rested, comfortable and satisfied. Then they would talk and talk and talk. It was a magnificent time in their lives.
