“You know I’m all in Boss, I just thought I would be the one stacking up the body count.” I said with a grin. “Where do we go from here?”
“We head back to the highway and continue on through the Everglades to Marco Island. There we’ll get a boat and make run across the Gulf to Cancun. I’ve got undercover DEA contacts there that can provide us with transportation so we can go inland to Tekax. That is unless of course you’d be more comfortable HALO jumping in.” Kelly was nearly laughing now.
“No, that’s okay, your plan to use the boat works fine for me Boss. Besides I think I’m a little old and been busted up too many times to be exiting an airplane in while in flight anymore, especially at twenty thousand plus feet.” I laughed. “So what do you know about this Ortega Cartel?”
“They’re one of the major cartels in Mexico and operate out of the jungles in the Yucatan Peninsula. They have major outlets in most of the major cities in the U.S., their biggest distributor is in your backyard in Chicago. Ortega has a small army and is one vicious son-of-a-bitch. He would blow up an airliner full of people just to kill one man that he thought might have insulted him.”
