This is an inspirational book for all to read.
Cynthia has a genuine gift for storytelling. She puts such emotion and passion into her writing, you find you are one with story and characters. She painted so many pictures of places, events and the human heart. Brought tears of happiness which is refreshing in today's world.

It will remind you of how truly fortunate you are and how important it is to make the most of the limited time you have here on Earth. I'm a fan. Read two of her books in less than a week and this was one of them. I truly connected with Alana as I think most women would. It's true life is not fair sometimes but it's great to read an uplifting story of determination, survival and finding love. What a heart-wrenching and inspirational love story.
