When I first found out I was going to have you ....
I was definitely surprised. Your brother "J" was already in school. My doctor, the old fashioned type, thought 34 1/2 years was middle age and past child bearing.
However, I knew better. Now I would have a little one with me, while the others were in school. No empty nest for me!
The story behind your name ....
Your sister, C, from the beginning felt that you belonged to her and that your name would be Maria. Your middle name Helen so happened because of the kind and caring nurse who held my hand during your delivery.
Of course, I had chosen the name Danny in case you fooled us and were a little boy.
