Why cook, when you can just buy something and heat it up? That's faster and cheaper, right?

Wrong.

Gail McGaffigan ordered pizza every Friday night, until she figured out the cost difference between making it and ordering it out, over ten years, was $5,000.00. What would you do with an extra $5,000.00?

Did you know that the loaf of artisan bread that costs $3.99 can be made with three ingredients? The same goes for that dinky, little $1 yogurt cup. Plus, each only costs pennies to make at home... just when you didn't think pennies could buy anything anymore.

One little book, 10 recipes, and Gail's tip sheet are your first step to saving $1,000's on your food costs.

This book will pay for itself on the first recipe!

Excerpt

Another reason to cook is that it gives you complete control over what you are eating. The more processed the food, the more chemicals and fillers you're taking in. This isn't, by far, a book about natural or organic foods, or the perfect diet. It's about helping you discover food that tastes better, costs less, and makes you and your family feel better. The better the ingredients, the better the result, but even the cheapest ingredients will make a far superior food to anything you buy pre-made. The additives in convenience foods slow you down and make you feel tired and run-down. The investment of time you make in preparing your own food will be quickly regained in new energy, as your body thanks you for not filling it with a lab full of chemicals.
