I brought this book with me to read on vacation and it was perfect! It has all the right ingredients - love, intrigue, family traditions, beautiful scenery, conflict, and quilting - how can you go wrong! As a person who has also made memory quilts for graduation gifts, I loved the way the quilt theme was threaded throughout the story. While it takes place in during the cold Montana winter season, it was a heartwarming story, and proved to be a perfect beach-read! ~Susan H Badeau
Paying Attention to Living 5*
I loved Angela's book. Mara's heart attack definitely informed me about what to watch for. Thank you, Angela. But probably the workaholic recovery theme was most important for me. Should I say I hate it when a mirror is held before my face? However, the story was wonderful. Loved the family, and the doggie stories brought my kitty stories to mind - all the way.
