I've just read this book in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. In this one Marc and his team are looking for the murderer of a pregnant woman in hospital waiting for a Caesarian section. As usual with Ms King this is a stepping off point and they end up looking for a serial killer. The characters are well drawn and the plot has enough depth to keep your attention fully focused. This is just a really great book - the characters are friendly and as the series goes on you feel as if you know them and could easily have a drink and craic with them. The plot could so easily have happened and may well have. It is all so lifelike.
