Through real life examples, this author displays how medical care delivery by a giant government bureaucracy will be potentially detrimental to the greatest bulk of American society. PPACA (Obamacare)is analyzed from the health care practitioner's perspective. The author went to great lengths to show how government managed health programs lead in one direction, rationing. Mark Davis MD notes how medications for many diseases become scarce, access to hospital beds is reduced and the quality of care delivery moves down several notches. The author has owned and or managed many health facilities, which provided him with full knowledge how the government interacts with private medical facilities. On June 28, 2012 five members of the Supreme Court cemented the health legislation that has come to be known as Obamacare into American History. Embedded in their cleverly crafted memorial to America was a delusional interpretation of the Founders’ greatest document, the Constitution. Paradoxically, the Supreme Court membership is excluded from the tenets of the very health plan that the majority of the Court have forced on the rest of us. In the event they were included in this misguided legislation the vote would have been 9-0 against. Following the release of the Court’s Opinion left wing politicians and their media groupies were seen dancing on their desks in delight.
